Drew Sawyer '17 enters his first year as the department's graduate assistant for intramurals in 2017-18.
No stranger to Endicott athletics, Sawyer starred on the men's basketball team for four years helping the Gulls to an 84-34 (.712) overall record, two Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championships, and three NCAA Tournament appearances. In his senior season, Sawyer and the men's basketball team enjoyed a historic run as the Gulls posted a single-season record 24 wins and reached the third round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
Sawyer wrapped up his career with 101 games played (1,648 minutes), 550 points, 197 assists, 135 rebounds, and 66 steals.
Outside of his time with the men's basketball program, Sawyer compiled a bevy of experiences during his time at the College. Over his four-year academic career, Sawyer worked at Evolution Basketball, the Beverly Athletic Club, the Beverly YMCA, King Low Heywood Thomas High School, and also served as an Endicott Orientation Leader. In addition to those experiences, Sawyer worked in gameday operations for the athletics department and also worked in the Student Affairs department, alongside his participation in Gull Revolution.
Sawyer graduated from Endicott in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management and a minor in Exercise Science.
