Bob Holmes begins his second stint and eighth year overall as an assistant coach at Endicott in 2018.
This past fall (2018), Holmes aided the Endicott defensive unit to the third-best points per game mark (27.5) in the conference and league-best figures in tackles per game (82.6) and total tackles (909).
Prior to 2018, Holmes spent seven years with the program from 2007-13. During that time, Holmes was the defensive coordinator of the program for five years. He previously worked with the linebackers, defensive backs, and running backs prior to becoming the program's defensive coordinator.
Before joining the Endicott staff, Holmes spent three years at Medford High School where he lent his knowledge of the game as the football team’s offensive line and defensive line coach.
A 2000 graduate of Bentley College, now Bentley University, Holmes played four years of football and baseball with one year of hockey for the Falcons. He played two years at the linebacker position and two years at center for the football team. He captained both the football and baseball teams his senior season.
Coach Holmes currently resides in Saugus with his wife Alison and their dog Mia and works during the day at Seacrest Foods, a specialty food importer, and distributor in Everett.
