INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA Field Hockey Committee announced the field of 24 teams that will compete in this year's NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship and Commonwealth Coast Conference champion Endicott Gulls will travel to face Little East trophy winners Keene State in first round action.
The game between the Gulls and the Owls will be on Wednesday, November 8th at the Owl Athletic Complex in Keene, N.H. at 4:00 pm.
Led by fifth year head coach Jodi Cipolla, the Blue and Green captured their first conference title in program history on Saturday with a 2-1 overtime victory over University of New England, earning the automatic qualifying bid into the NCAA Tournament which had eluded them after seven previous conference finals appearances.

Junior midfielder Taylor Matties (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) has 13 assists and three goals this season, including the game-winning tally in the CCC Championship.

No stranger to championship play, the Owls led by head coach Amy Watson will be making their sixth trip into the NCAA Tournament and first since 2008. Keene State defeated in-state rival Plymouth State earlier on Sunday to claim the program's eighth Little East Conference crown.
