CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Endicott field hockey team traveled to No. 13 MIT on Tuesday evening and came away with a 6-0 shutout victory.

The Gulls struck first when Sydney Poulin (Watertown, Mass.) carried the ball in the circle and sent a pass to the front of the net where Addi Williams (Pittsfield, Maine) was able to deflect the ball past the netminder for her first career goal.

Poulin then made the score 2-0 in favor of Endicott just over four minutes later on a corner opportunity.

With just under nine minutes remaining in the first half, the Gull's saw another tally on a corner, this time from Kristen McCarthy (Danvers, Mass.)

The Gulls took a 4-0 lead with time winding down in the first frame. Jaylin Grabau (Lynnfield, Mass.) ran the ball into the circle and passed to McCarthy, who then one-timed it back over to Grabau to score.

Endicott continued to dominate offensively in the second half as the Gulls saw goals from Poulin and Julie Champigny (Acton, Mass.) to solidify the 6-0 shutout.
