Beverly, MA -The \#1 seeded Endicott Gulls defeated the \#8 seed Regis 3-0 (30-12, 30-8, 30-24) to advance to the CCC Semifinals on Thursday. Regis finishes their season with a 7-16 record overall and 2-7 in the CCC while EC improves to 27-6 overall and remains undefeated in CCC Play. The Gulls built early leads on the serving runs of Meghan Hall to get them started with an 8-0 run in game one and a 13-0 to start game two and then relied on a well rounded offensive performance to close out the Pride.
For the Gulls, Susan Teta knocked down a team high 13 kills while picking up 4 aces. Sara Moore and Morgan Tranquist also contributed double digit kills with 10 apiece. Meghan Hall picked up another double-double with 34 assists and 12 digs and Killeen Ross contributed 11 digs to the effort.
Senior Khimmara Greer's 4 kills and 16 digs paced the Pride.
The Gulls will now host cross-town rivals Gordon College at 7:00 PM on Thursday. The 5th seeded Scots defeated 4th seeded Roger Williams 3-1 to advance to the Semifinal match.
