No. 4/5 Baseball Sweeps CNE Weekly Awards
BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 4/5 nationally ranked Endicott baseball team swept the Conference of New England's (CNE) Weekly Awards, the league office announced on Monday afternoon. Joey Frammartino (North Reading, Mass.) earned Player of the Week honors, while Evan Scully (Maynard, Mass.) earned Pitcher of the Week and Cade Bernardo (Glenmont, N.Y.) took home Rookie of the Week.

Joey Frammartino (North Reading, Mass.) earned Player of the Week honors, while Evan Scully (Maynard, Mass.) earned Pitcher of the Week and Cade Bernardo (Glenmont, N.Y.) took home Rookie of the Week.
JOEY FRAMMARTINO | PLAYER OF THE WEEK
In Endicott's 4-0 week (2-0 CNE), Frammartino went 8-for-15 with a home run, a double, four runs scored, two RBI, two walks, and three stolen bases.
That produced a slash line of .533 AVG / .611 OBP / .800 SLG over the four-game stretch.
On Tuesday in a 5-2 win over Tufts, Frammartino went 1-for-3 with a single, a walk, and a stolen base.
Two days later, he went 1-for-4 with a single, a walk, a stolen base, and two runs scored in Endicott's 9-5 win over MIT.
In Friday's CNE doubleheader against Curry, the senior outfielder feasted on the Colonels' pitching staff. In game one, Frammartino went 3-for-4 with a double, two singles, an RBI, and a run scored in an 8-0 win. He followed up in game two with another three-hit game, this time with a home run and a stolen base in the scorebook, guiding the Gulls to an 8-1 win.
This is Frammartino's second career Player of the Week award (4/2/24).
EVAN SCULLY | PITCHER OF THE WEEK
In Endicott's 4-0 week (2-0 CNE), Scully made two lights-out starts.
On Tuesday against Tufts, he served as the opener for the Gulls and turned in a shutdown 2.0 IP (2 K's, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB). The Gulls went on to win the game by a 5-2 score.
Then, in a doubleheader against Curry on Friday, Scully made the start in game two. The junior right-hander tossed a career-high seven innings (complete game) and limited the Colonels to just four hits (one run). He also struck out a career-best eight hitters in the dominant outing, leading the Gulls to the 8-1 win.
This is Scully's first career CNE Pitcher of the Week award.
CADE BERNARDO | ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
In Endicott's 4-0 week (2-0 CNE), Bernardo went 5-for-15 with a home run, a double, six RBI, two runs scored, and a walk.
He slashed .333 AVG / .353 OBP / .600 SLG over the four-game stretch.
In the Gulls' 5-2 win over Tufts on Tuesday, he went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and a walk.
When facing MIT on Thursday, he went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored.
Then, in Friday's doubleheader sweep against Curry, Bernardo went 3-for-8 on the afternoon (one hit in G1; two in G2). He homered and singled twice in the sweep, and also drove in three runs for the Gulls.
This is Bernardo's fourth CNE Rookie of the Week award this season (3/17/25, 3/24/25, 4/7/25).

No. 4/5 Endicott (21-3, 8-0 CNE) heads to Southern Maine on Wednesday for a non-conference matchup in Portland, Maine.
