MAJOR AWARD WINNERS
DANNY MACDOUGALL | SR. | OF/1B | Taunton, Mass.
Player of the Year | All-CNE First Team
MacDougall becomes the ninth Gull in program history to garner Player of the Year honors. Most recently, Caleb Shpur '23 (East Canaan, Conn.) took home the award in 2023.
The Gulls' senior captain posted a ridiculous slash line of .365 AVG / .493 OBP / .581 SLG in his 42 games played this season. He cranked eight homers, legged out eight doubles and two triples, and walked 31 times as opposed to just 23 strikeouts.
Additionally, he has swiped 41 steals so far this season, which is creeping up on his program-record 48 that he set last season. Nationally, his 41 steals this season rank fourth across the NCAA.
The Taunton native became the program's all-time stolen bases leader with his 100th career theft back on May 4 against UMass Boston. Additionally, he set a program record with four career multi-homer games-- more than any other student-athlete in program history.
He placed among the top ranks in almost all CNE stat categories, including batting average (.365 AVG; 12th), on-base percentage (.493 OBP; 5th), slugging percentage (.581 SLG; 11th), on-base plus slugging percentage (1.074; 7th), runs (69; 1st), hits (61; 5th), RBI (44; 3rd), home runs (eight; T-4th), at-bats (167; 5th), walks (31; first), and steals (41; 1st).
Among other impressive feats, MacDougall has tallied at least one hit in 32 of his 42 games played. His versatility across the diamond has also been displayed all season, as he frequently sees time in both the outfield and at first base for the Gulls in-game.
This marks the senior's first career CNE Player of the Year, and third career All-Conference team (2023 2nd Team | 2024 1st Team).
CHARLIE HALE | SO. | P | Brookline, N.H.
Pitcher of the Year | All-CNE First Team
The reigning Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Year has followed up with a dominant sophomore season in 2025.
He joins Jordan Gottesman '24 (Acton, Mass.) and Gabe Van Emon (Concord, Mass.) as the third straight Endicott pitcher to capture Conference Pitcher of the Year honors, and the ninth overall.
So far, Hale has posted a conference-best among starters with a 2.13 ERA in 63.1 IP. He has limited opponents to a .169 batting average against (also first in the CNE) while fanning 71 hitters and featuring a 0.79 WHIP.
He tied Gottesman with his 11 wins this season, a program single-season record and good for third-most in the nation. Three of those wins were complete games, which placed him T-22nd nationally.
He has also fanned hitters at a 10.09 K/9 clip, which also ranked among the leaders in the Conference.
Among the many impressive outings for Hale this season, perhaps the most memorable was when he struck out 10 Colonels in a complete-game effort against Curry on April 11.
Additionally, he came on to close out the Conference of New England Championship on May 11, recording his first career save in the Gulls' 3-0 win.
JOHN MULREADY | GR. | C | Peabody, Mass.
Defensive Player of the Year | All-CNE First Team
The 2023 Rawlings Gold Glover and Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year adds to his defensive hardware with the 2025 Conference of New England Defensive Player of the Year award.
After an injury-plagued 2024 season, Mulready was back behind the plate for the Gulls full time in 2025.
The graduate captain was a force to be reckoned with. He guided the Gulls pitching staff to a conference-best 3.18 ERA (fourth best in Division III) and threw out 10 would-be base stealers in 2025.
His veteran presence behind the dish provided the Blue and Green with a sense of confidence and stability all season long that allowed them to be one of the top teams in the nation both offensively and defensively.
He posted absurd defensive numbers with a .996 fielding percentage and a .455 caught stealing percentage, both of which were among the nation's best for backstops.
KYLE GRABOWSKI | GR. | DH | Westfield, Mass.
Scholar Athlete of the Year | All-CNE First Team
Grabowski returned to Coach Haley's squad for a graduate season in 2025 after receiving his Bachelor's of Science in Engineering in 2024. He graduated with a 3.87 grade-point average (GPA), which gave him Cum Laude honors at Commencement.
This year, he began his Master of Business Administration with concentration in Project and Construction, and again posted an outstanding GPA of 3.95.
He is a member of Endicott's distinguished Mortar Board society, which serves as the College-wide honor society throughout all schools.
He is also a 3x Academic All-Conference Honoree and was featured on the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-Region squad. During his undergrad, he was a Dean's List member in seven of his eight collegiate semesters.
In addition to his impressive performance in the classroom, Grabowski has also completed a breadth of real-world experience throughout his time at Endicott. In Fall 2023, he served his senior year 448 hour internship with South Essex Sewer District in Salem, Mass. as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Intern. He also completed his senior year capstone project by providing restoration updates to Lawrence South Canal, which included designing a gate plug with professional engineers to stop water from leaking toward nearby businesses.
Grabowski also turned in a terrific 2025 season on the field. The graduate produced a slashline of .343 AVG / .427 OBP / .545 SLG with four homers, 40 RBI's, 42 runs scored, and a career-high 13 stolen bases from the cleanup spot in the Gulls' order.
BRYAN HALEY | 19TH SEASON | COACH OF THE YEAR
Head Coach Bryan Haley has earned his seventh career Conference Coach of the Year honors, and fourth consecutive.
This season, he coached the Gulls to a 38-4 record (16-0 CNE, 25-0 at home) and secured the program's tenth CCC/CNE Championship (fourth consecutive).
The team's dominance kept them in the top five for national rankings in both the D3baseball.com and the ABCA polls throughout the season, and were also ranked as the top team in Region II for the entirety of the season.
At one point, the Gulls rattled off a Division III high 23 straight wins between March 20 and April 29.
Haley guided the Gulls to a ranked win over No. 3/6 Johns Hopkins on March 15 (4-3), and several other wins over teams that were receiving votes in the national polls throughout the season (Nichols, Eastern Connecticut State, Colby, Tufts, UMass Dartmouth, and UMass Boston).
The undefeated in-conference slate is the first in program history, and just the
Under Haley's guidance, the Gulls are heading to their fourth consecutive NCAA Regional Tournament, and will be looking to advance to their fourth consecutive Super Regional round. They have national championship aspirations after having reached the Division III College World Series in back-to-back seasons in 2023 and 2024.
Altogether, Haley has maintained the team standard to the highest pinnacle of success, and he's not done yet.
