Pappalardo Earns CNE Pitcher of the Week Nod
BEVERLY, Mass. — No. 18/24 nationally ranked Endicott baseball senior right-handed pitcher Matt Pappalardo (Pelham, N.H.) has been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Pappalardo delivered a dominant seven-inning start at Johnson & Wales in No. 18/24 Endicott's 7-0 game two win to complete the sweep on Saturday afternoon in Providence.
The junior ace finished with a line of 7.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 8 K to secure the sweep for the Blue and Green.
After his outing, his ERA lowered to 1.88 on the season, which ranks 23rd nationally among qualified pitchers.
This marks Pappalardo's second career CNE Pitcher of the Week honors this season and in his career (4/13/26).
