CNE CHAMPIONSHIP: No. 11/12 Endicott Hosts Western New England On Sunday
BEVERLY, Mass. — The first-seeded Endicott baseball team hosts third-seeded Western New England in the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship on Sunday at 11 AM. Western New England needs just one win to capture the CNE Championship, while Endicott has to defeat the Golden Bears twice to hoist the conference title. The if-necessary game would occur approximately 30 minutes after game one.

- The Golden Bears will play in their fourth championship game over the last six seasons on Sunday, looking to bring back the title to Springfield for the first time since 2018.
- Endicott aims to secure its fifth conference championship in a row (2022-2025), needing two victories entering the championship round for the first time since 2013, when the Gulls rattled off four straight elimination-game wins against Curry (13-1), Roger Williams (5-1), Salve Regina (13-0), and Western New England (12-3) to capture their first conference title since 2006.
- Western New England is riding a nine-game winning streak heading into Sunday's matchup, outscoring opponents 93-37 during that stretch.
- The Gulls are 5-3 overall following a loss this season.

The winner of Sunday's championship round will earn the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament. The field will be announced on Monday, May 11 at noon (EST) on NCAA.com.
