EVAN SCULLY | SP | CONSENSUS DIII CHAMPIONSHIP ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
In three tournament appearances, Scully pitched to an ERA of 3.45 over 15.2 innings of work. He fanned 13 men and limited opponents to just 12 hits and three walks (0.96 WHIP) over his three appearances.
The most memorable of such appearances were his starts against Adrian (6/1; national semifinals) and his game three winner-take-all start against Denison in the national championship (6/4).
Against Adrian, the senior right-hander turned in a career performance to send Endicott to its first-ever national championship series. He finished with a line of 8 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 7 K to give Endicott all the momentum in the if-necessary semifinal matchup. At one point, he retired 17 straight batters between the first and seventh innings. He exited to thunderous applause from the Endicott fanbase.
Then, in the national championship, he made another start in a winner-take-all game— his fourth of the playoff run (Conference of New England Championship, Super Regionals, DIII national semifinals, DIII national championship).
In the championship start, he again brought his best stuff against the powerful Denison lineup. After Endicott had just forced the if-necessary game about an hour earlier, Scully came to the hill in game three and dominated. He did not allow a hit to the Big Red until the bottom of the fifth inning, when Endicott led 3-0.
Although he and the Gulls eventually came up just short in extra innings, his commanding start (5 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 5 K) gave them a great chance to win the first national championship in school history.
JOHN FUSCO | OF | CONSENSUS DIII CHAMPIONSHIP ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
New to the DIII national championship setting, Fusco showed no signs of shying away from big moments whatsoever.
The sophomore Franciscan transfer slashed a team-best .464/.529/.607 over 28 at-bats in the College World Series. He also racked up seven RBI, three stolen bases, and four extra-base hits from the six-hole in the Gulls' order.
His consistency throughout the tournament transcends through his five multi-hit games. He notched at least one hit in each of the Gulls' seven tournament games.
He delivered one of, if not the most, iconic moments in program history when he stepped up with the bases loaded in a 10-10 game in game two of the national championship.
With the sacks full and nobody out, he lifted the first pitch he saw deep into right field. It was plenty deep enough to score the game-winning, walk-off run, sending the Gulls fanbase into a frenzy and forcing the if-necessary game three.
Then, in game three, he put the Gulls on top with an early RBI single to make it 1-0, seemingly always stepping up when it mattered most.
TJ LIPONIS | SS | NCAA ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM SELECTION
The Gulls captain and all-time hits leader showcased his all-around spectacular play in the 2026 DIII National Championship.
Over Endicott's seven games, Liponis slashed .258/.361/.516 with two homers, two doubles, and five RBI.
In Endicott's explosive 12-2 win over Adrian, Liponis went two-for-five with a homer, single, and three RBI.
His presence in the middle of the lineup and consistent defense up the middle of the infield brought Endicott to its first ever national championship series.
In Thursday afternoon's winner-take-all championship game against Denison, Liponis blasted his second homer of the tournament to put the Gulls on top 3-0 early in the contest.
He also cleanly recorded all 22 assists and 11 putouts he was tasked with throughout Endicott's seven games for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
BRADY STUART | SP | NCAA ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM SELECTION
Stuart was named to the All-Tournament Team after his brilliant showing in the CWS.
The D3baseball.com National Pitcher of the Year showed out at the tournament.
In the Gulls' opening game against Salisbury, Stuart pitched six innings and limited the Seagulls to just four hits and one earned run.
Along the way, he struck out 11 Seagulls to set the tone for Endicott's crucial 5-1 opening victory.
Then, after closing out a 4-2 semifinal win against Adrian, Stuart started game two of the national championship series.
In that start on Thursday, he battled and held the nation's top offense to three earned runs.
After the Gulls fought back to win game two in 10 innings, Stuart appeared out of relief in the winner-take-all game three.
Out of the bullpen on just about three hours' rest, Stuart somehow turned in an incredible two innings of work (2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 K).
YEAR IN REVIEW
Endicott (44-14) appeared in its first ever national championship. The Gulls won game two in walkoff fashion to force game three, but ultimately fell to Denison, 4-3, in the winner-take-all finale on June 4.
Among the many impressive feats from this year's squad, one of the most impressive was their performance in winner-take-all elimination games.
The 2026 Gulls were the first team in DIII history to win four winner-take-all games, which eventually earned them a berth in the national championship.
With their run to the College World Series, Endicott became the first team since Chapman (2005-09) to appear in four straight CWS'.
