Four EC Riders Earn Blue Ribbons
For the equestrian team, the show hosted by Boston College was one of ups and downs. The team brought home four blue ribbons, won by Olivia Koines, Anne Marie Coursey, Megan Piermarini and Greta Lindquist.
Sarah Ireland turned in the best overall performance, winning 3rd over fences and 2nd in her flat class. Other team members, adjusting to the horses provided by BC, had a struggle. The show was an eight hour marathon, due to starting late and other delays.
Alumni team member, Alexis Bochain earned a blue in the Alumni Flat class.
Endicott College hosts the next IHSA Horse Show on November 20 at Springtide at Twisdenwood Farm. The over fences classes will start at 9:00a.m. with the flat classes in the afternoon.
