Lauren Horth leads Endicott at Regional Finals

BOXFORD, Mass. - Nine riders from the Endicott College equestrian team qualified for Regional Finals held at Springtide Farm in Boxford, Mass. on Sunday. The Gulls were led by \#Lauren Horth\# (Dalton, Mass.), who finished second in the Open Fences class.
The nine riders included \#Lauren Horth\#, Open Fences rider \#Mia Finkelstein\# (Peabody, Mass.), Intermediate Fences rider \#Kate Selig\# (Groveland, Mass.), Intermediate Flat riders \#Tricia Morrison\# (Georgetown, Mass.) and \#Frances Pearson\#, Novice Fences rider \#Leigh Fitzgerald\# (Bolton, Mass.), Novice Flat riders \#Anne Wilcox\# (Philadelphia, Pa.) and \#Michelle DeCata\# (Ridgefield, Conn.) and Walk-Trot-Canter rider \#Christine Hevey\#.
At the Regional Finals, \#Lauren Horth\# continued to be the most consistent rider for the Gulls by placing second in an extremely competitive Open Fences class. Horth will compete in the Zone One finals at Mount Holyoke College on April 10th.
The Zone One, Region Four Finals were hosted at Springtide Farm on March 28th. To qualify, riders had to have pointed out from their division by earning 35 points in ribbons (28 for Open). The top two riders in each division at Regionals qualifies for the Zone One Finals.
