Lauren Horth places third at N.E. Equitation Championship

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott College sophomore \#Lauren Horth\# (Dalton, Mass.) accomplished a remarkable achievement as Horth won third place out of 88 riders at the New England Equitation Championship held on October 16th at the Big E in Springfield, Mass.
To even participate in the Championship show, riders must qualify in other shows during the year. \#Lauren Horth\# participated in the Adult Equitation Level, 18-22 years.
At the event, Lauren rode her 16’2” hand 12 year old Dutch Warmblood, Carpe Diem (know as Pedro around the barn) over a course of 10 jumps. The top 25 riders, including \#Lauren Horth\#, were invited back for a second round.
Lauren says the hardest thing about the Championship event was, “keeping it together,” for two rounds and credits her success to Pedro who states she was “perfect” that day.
Lauren trains with Endicott coach \#Stephanie Andreotolla\#, Missy Clark, and Christy McCormack at North Run Farm in Vermont.
