Endicott wraps up busy weekend tied for 1st in Region

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott College equestrian team wrapped up a busy weekend of competitions as the Gulls participated in the Tufts University show on Saturday, October 31st, and followed that up with a show hosted by Boston University on Sunday, November 1st. The Gulls earned Reserve Champion at the Tufts show held in Holliston, Mass. and followed that up with a fifth place showing at the BU show.
The Gulls currently sit tied with Tufts University in first place for the Zone One, Region Four IHSA Championship.
Saturday’s competition saw numerous good ribbons from \#Lauren Horth\# (Dalton, Mass.), \#Anna Pavlov\# (Pound Ridge, N.Y.) and \#Kate Selig\# (Groveland, Mass.).
On Sunday, the Gulls received outstanding performances from \#Katherine Noyes\# (Morristown, N.J.), \#Frances Pearson\# (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.), \#Jess Silbereisen\# (Cos Cob, Conn.) and \#Anna Pavlov\#. \#Kate Selig\# pointed out from Intermediate Flat and is now qualified for the Regional Finals in March.
Endicott has received an especially strong start to the 2009 season from freshman \#Anna Pavlov\#, who through three shows, has usually won either first or second place in her classes.
Endicott will host the Zone 1 Region 4 teams on Sunday, November 8th at the largest show of the year at Endicott’s home barn, Springtide Farm in Boxford, Mass.
