Equestrian makes program history at UVM show

Endicott Equestrian completed its season with a Reserve Champion ribbon and as overall Reserve Champion of Zone 1, Region 2 for the year. This is the best finish in the history of the team.
The show on Saturday was hosted by the University of Vermont. As a Point show, only one rider in each division is allowed to enter. Novice Rider Taylor Chisholm won a blue ribbon in her fences class. Anna Pavlov took second in Open Fences, while Erin Sullivan, (walk-trot-canter) and Megan Gutwillig (Walk-Trot) took red ribbons as well.
Anna Pavlov finished in the top-10 Open riders and will compete in the Cacchione Challenge at the Regional Championships. She will also rider in the Intermediate Fences and Intermediate Flat classes. Molly Shannon and Molly Zemmel will represent Endicott in the Walk-Trot-Canter division.
Tricia Morrison and Anne Wilcox will compete in Novice Flat and Wilcox will also ride in Novice Fences. Georgina Heaseman also qualified but is away on internship. Lauren Horth qualified for Open Flat but is unable to ride due to injury.
Riders qualify for Regionals by earning 35 points in their division. Riders who place first or second at Regionals qualify for Zone Championships which will be held at Mt. Holyoke on April 9.
