Equestrian wins twice over the weekend

The Endicott equestrian team won back-to-back shows this weekend to move into second place in the regional standings behind the University of New Hampshire. The Blue and Green won Reserve High Point School on Saturday before matching that performance a day later in Warner, N.H.
Etna, N.H. - Endicott riders took home six first-place and five second-place ribbons to take Reserve High Point School at a competition held Saturday at the Dartmouth College home stable. Temperatures were cold but the team was hot.

\#Anna Pavlov\# moved up to Open Flat with a resounding win in Intermediate Flat while \#Victoria Knight\# earned finished first in fences and second in flat in the same division. \#Christine Hevey\# won in Cross-Rail Equitation and finished second in Novice Flat.
\#Frances Pearson\# also took home a blue ribbon in Novice Flat while \#Molly Shannon\# continued her winning streak with a win in Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter.
Additional red ribbons were won by \#Victoria Knight\#, \#Michelle DeCata\#, \#Erin Sullivan\# and \#Georgina Heaseman\#.
With the win, Endicott moved into third place is just one point shy of a tie for second place in the standings.
Next weekend riders in the Region will be competing in the New England Finals Championship in Springfield, Mass. Horth, Pavlov and Knight will be representing Endicott at the show.
IHSA competition resumes on October 31 with a show at the University of New Hampshire.

Warner, N.H. - Endicott Equestrian had another successful show on Sunday at the event hosted by Colby-Sawyer College by winning Reserve High Point School for the second time in a row. With the win, the Gulls move up to second place in team standings, trailing only the University of New Hampshire.
Lauren Horth won reserve high point rider after a ride-off. Lauren is currently ranked number two in Cacchione Cup placings for Region 2.
The Colby-Sawyer show was a point show, a variant of Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) competition. Point shows only allow one rider per division, except Open where two riders from each school were allowed.
Two-thirds of the Endicott team at the competition brought home a blue ribbon. Winning first place in their respective classes were \#Anna Pavlov\#, \#Lauren Horth\#, \#Molly Shannon\# and \#Georgina Heasman\#.
The next IHSA competition will be October 31, hosted by University of New Hampshire.
Endicott will host the Regional Finals on April 3.
