Pelik and Horth compete at IHSA Nationals in North Carolina

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Captains Susie Pelik and Lauren Horth both rode in the IHSA national horse show in North Carolina. 

Pelik finished 12th at nationals, while Lauren competed for the Caccione Cup but missed the cut by two points. 
 
"I felt that this was one of the most competitive nationals that I have ever been to," said Coach Andreottola.  "Every rider here were some of the best of the best and having Susie and Lauren in that crowd shows that Endicott is a force to be reckoned with and the future should prove that."
 
Lauren and Susie were supported by Lauren's whole family who drove or flew down to her father's alma mater, NC State. Along with captain Erin Sullivan, who qualified for zones this year, also present were Georgina Heassman, David Rhan, Monica Carrera and alumni Christine Hevey.
