Equestrian off to its strongest start in 18 years after Middlebury and Vermont shows

Endicott Equestrians started their fall season at a gallop, winning Reserve High Point School and taking seven first place ribbons.  Freshman Marissa Ricard took home Reserve High Point rider in her first hunt seat equitation show ever.  Great performances from Freshman riders Marissa Ricard, Olivia Matthaei and Katie Saunders with the support from upper classmen  resulted  in these strong results.

Competing against 9 other schools, the team took great ribbons across the Divisions, from Open through Walk-Trot.  Blue ribbons went home with Marissa Ricard, Taylor Chisholm, Katie Saunders, Anna McKendry and Susie Pelick.

University of Vermont Horse Show
 
The Equestrian Team continued their winning ways at the show hosted by UVM on Sunday, winning Reserve High Point School.  The team is now off to its strongest start in 18 years, only one point  behind leader UNH.
 
Once again an Endicott team member, Nicole Barberio, earned Reserve High Point Rider.  One-hundred and fifty riders competed in the show.
 
Blue Ribbons were awarded to Lauren Horth, Marissa Ricard, Nicole  Barberio (in both her classes) and Susie Pelick.  Erin Sullivan pointed out of Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter, qualifying for Regional Finals as a result.
 
The team competes next on Saturday, at the Dartmouth College Facility in Etna, N H.
