    • Monica Carrera’s Horse Wins Big

    BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott Open rider, Monica Carrera, was ecstatic when her horse, Lincourt Gino, won the $200,000 American Gold Cup Grand Prix on Sunday, Sept 16th. Piloted by Olympic Silver Medalist Peter Leone, Gino bested some of the top jumpers in the country at the event held at Old Salem Farm in New York.

    Endicott Open rider, junior Monica Carrera (Southport, Conn.), was ecstatic when her horse, Lincourt Gino, won the $200,000 American Gold Cup Grand Prix on Sunday, Sept 16th.  Piloted by Olympic Silver Medalist Peter Leone, Gino bested some of the top jumpers in the  country at the event held at Old Salem Farm in New York.

    Leone started showing Gino when Monica was unable to ride for six months due to an injury.  Gino is a nine year old Irish Sport Horse who will now get some time off.  It is undecided if Monica will show Gino in Amatuer/Owner classes in the future or if he will continue his Grand Prix career.
