GAMEDAY CENTRAL: No. 14/14 Endicott Hosts No. 11/13 Cortland in NCAA First Round

BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 14/14 Endicott football team (9-1) hosts No. 11/13 Cortland (9-1) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament this Saturday at Hempstead Stadium. Here's a preview of this weekend's matchup (12 PM).

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Saturday's game will mark the second time the two teams have faced off with the previous time coming back in 2010 (NCAA First Round, 49-35 Cortland).
• The Red Dragons are 5-0 on the road this fall, while the Gulls are 5-1 at The Nest this season.
• Both squads have won their respective conference championships three seasons in a row to produce an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. 
• Cortland's offense generates 50.0 points per contest which ranks 9th in DIII. 
• Endicott's defense holds opposing offenses to 8.40 PPG (4th in DIII). 

TICKET POLICY

This year we are introducing a new ticketing system for all home football games at Hempstead Stadium. All tickets are electronic through Eventbrite and are currently live on our schedule page.

No cash sales will be offered at the gate. All seats will be general admission.

All tickets will be $6 (for all ages). Children under 2 are free.

Gates will open 90 minutes prior to the game.

All ticket holders must present a printed-out copy of their order OR the QR code on their phone for admittance. There will be no refunds.

WHAT'S NEXT

The winner of the matchup will advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament to take on the winner of Susquehanna/Grove City next Saturday at a time and location TBD.
