Jake Salera enters his first year with the Endicott football program in 2025-26. Salera will work primarily with the defensive backs.

In his first season with Endicott, Salera led two safeties to Conference of New England (CNE) All-Conference honors. He was also responsible for guiding the Gulls' kickoff unit, which finished first in the CNE for kickoff average. 

Salera comes to Endicott from Stonehill College, where he coached the defensive backs from 2022 to 2024. He led the creation of game plans and scouting reports that improved defensive performance.

Along with defensive backs, Salera helped on special teams, where he coordinated kickoff and punt block special teams units.

Before Stonehill, Salera was a graduate assistant outside linebackers coach for two seasons at his alma mater, Western New England. During his first season, he coached the Back 7 (Safeties, Corners, and Zips) during Fall 2020, developing skills, strategy, and teamwork to enhance defensive performance. He also supported the coordination and execution of recruiting visits, ensuring smooth operations and a positive candidate experience.

During his second season as a graduate assistant, he helped as the Director of Football Operations and Video Coordinator. Salera also coached the outside linebackers as he helped the athletes develop key skills, techniques, and strategies to enhance performance.

From 2016-19, Salera was a member of the Western New England football team, where he was a four-time conference champion and was named a captain during his senior season. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in 2020 and achieved a Master of Science in Sport Leadership and Coaching in May 2022.
