NCAA Tournament: Endicott Travels To Vassar On Wednesday (5 PM)

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott field hockey team travels to Vassar for the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Wednesday, November 10 with a 5 PM start time at the Prentiss Sports Complex. Here's a preview of Wednesday's contest. 

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED KNOW 

• This is the third consecutive season Endicott has qualified for the NCAA Tournament. 
• The Gulls have advanced in their previous two NCAA Tournament first round matchups (11/13 vs. Wilson, 8-1 | 11/7 vs. St. Joseph's (Me.).
• Wednesday's game will be the first-ever meeting between Endicott and Vassar.
• Endicott received an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament after defeating the University of New England in double overtime, 1-0, in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship game on Saturday, November 6.
• Vassar punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament last Saturday with a 1-0 overtime win over Ithaca in the Liberty League Championship. Wednesday's game will be the second NCAA Tournament appearance in program history for Vassar.

WHAT'S NEXT 

The winner of Wednesday's contest will advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and will take on Middlebury College on Saturday, November 13.
