    BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott field hockey team defeated Wheaton (Mass.), 5-0, in non-conference action on Thursday night at Nordin Field.

    Tori Swanson (Farmington, Conn.) highlighted the Gulls with a pair of tallies and one assist.

    Olivia Lampasona (Watertown, Mass.) also buried two goals (25:42 | 29:23), while Meaghan Hogan (Cheshire, Conn.) added a marker and a helper in the win. 

    In goal, Brianna Anslow (Clifton Park, N.Y.) stopped two shots over three quarters of action to even up her record at 2-2 overall on the season. 

    Meanwhile, Alexis DeMattia (Methuen, Mass.) closed out the final 15 minutes with one save.

    BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

    • Endicott is 8-2 all-time against Wheaton.
    • The Gulls have won six straight in the all-time series.
    • Swanson notched her first career goal and assist in the victory (first career game).
    • Lampasona registered her fifth career multi-goal game tonight (second this season, WPI, 9/10).
