BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott field hockey student-athletes Olivia Lampasona (Watertown, Mass.), Natalia Correia (Tyngsboro, Mass.), and Brianna Anslow (Clifton Park, N.Y.) have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Senior forward Lampasona contributed to both Endicott's wins this week. She scored a goal in each contest, starting with a tally in non-conference, 4-1, win over Worcester State. She followed that up by scoring the goal that would become the game-winner in a 4-0 CCC victory over Western New England. This is her second career honor.
Freshman defender Correia was part of an Endicott defensive unit that surrendered only one goal this week. After allowing just six shots on-goal into Worcester State on Thursday (Oct. 13) in a 4-1 win, they held Western New England to only two shots on-target in a 4-0 CCC shutout on Saturday (Oct. 15). This is her first career honor.
Freshman goalkeeper Anslow earned two wins in the cage for Endicott this week, making seven saves in the process. She made five stops in a 4-1 non-conference victory over Worcester State on Thursday (Oct. 13) before picking up a two-save shutout against Western New England on Saturday (Oct. 15). She finished the week with a 0.50 goals-against average and a .875 save percentage. This is her second career honor.
