BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior midfielder Reagan Hicks (Barnstable, Mass.) recorded her first career hat-trick to lift the No. 10 nationally ranked Gulls past Wellesley, 5-0, on Wednesday night at North Field.
Hicks potted goals in the second (26:02), third (30:33), and fourth (45:34) quarters, helping the Gulls push their winning streak to 14 straight games and home record to 8-1 on the season.
The senior midi also assisted Abby Antonelli's (Worcester, Mass.) goal in the second (28:46), giving her a career-high seven points on the night.
Tori Swanson (Farmington, Conn.) buried her team-leading 18th goal of the season late in the third (44:49) to round out the list of scorers for Endicott in the shutout victory.
In goal, Faith Minickene (Madison, Conn.) stopped two shots – both in the first quarter – for her fourth shutout this fall (sixth career).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Gulls are 5-1 all-time against Wellesley.
- Endicott has won five straight in the series dating back to 2009 (five straight shutouts, 18-0).
- Before tonight's contest, Hicks had scored two goals in a game on seven different occasions.
- Her first goal of the matchup marked her third career game-winner (second this season).
