Field Hockey Continues Historic Rise, Reaches No. 8 In NFHCA Rankings
BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott field hockey team has been ranked No. 8 overall in the latest National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). Today's announcement marks the highest national ranking in program history, surpassing last week's ranking of No. 10 overall.
Another undefeated week for The Blue and Green in which they took down Wellesley (5-0) and conference opponent Roger Williams (2-1) saw them climb the rankings by two spots.
The Gulls have achieved the feat thanks to a 15 game-winning streak, which is tied for the longest in program history.
The No. 8 national ranking is also the second-highest national ranking by a women's varsity sport behind Women's Ice Hockey's No. 7 national ranking in 2021.
As a team, Endicott leads or ranks inside the top five in Division III across numerous categories inclduing Goals Per Game (1st), Points Per Game (1st), Save Percentage (1st), Scoring Average (1st), Scoring Margin (1st), Assists Per Game (3rd), and Shutouts Per Game (4th).

No. 8 Endicott (15-1, 6-0 CNE) travels to Simmons, tomorrow, Wednesday, October 22, for a 5 PM contest.
