Six Gulls Named To NFHCA All-Region Teams

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott field hockey team has placed a program record six student-athletes on the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region teams.
Reagan Hicks (Barnstable, Mass.), Faith Minickene (Madison, Conn.), Riley Perkins (Lakeville, Mass.), and Tori Swanson (Farmington, Conn.) were all named to the Region I First-Team.
Both Natalia Correia (Tyngsboro, Mass.) and Maddy Dengler (Winchester, Mass.) represented the Gulls on the Second Team.
The four first-teamers are also the most in program history, and Endicott has the most student-athletes represented across the two teams, with the next closest being Babson at four.
FIRST TEAM ALL-REGION
REAGAN HICKS | SR. | M/F | BARNSTABLE, MASS.
Hicks has been named to the First-Team for the first time in her career following a senior campaign in which she started all 23 games for the Gulls, scoring a career-high 23 goals and 10 assists for 56 points. The senior forward became the 10th student-athlete in program history to finish her career with over 100 points when she achieved the milestone on October 18 versus Roger Williams. The Barnstable, Mass. native finished the year ranked inside the top-20 nationally in both Goals Per Game (1.00) and Points Per Game (2.43). Hicks also had six game-winning goals during the season, which ranked atop the CNE, and was also inside the top five in goals, assists, and points. The CNE First-Teamer's single-season program ranks include fifth in points, tied for sixth in goals, tied for fifth in game-winning goals, and tied for eighth in assists.
FAITH MINICKENE | SO. | GK | MADISON, CONN.
Minickene earned her second consecutive all-region selection after being named to the second team in 2024. The CNE Goalkeeper of the Year finished the year with a 0.76 GAA, 133 saves, a .893 save percentage, and a 20-2 record for the Gulls. The sophomore ranks first in wins in a single season, first in GAA, second in save percentage, sixth in saves, and tied for sixth in shutouts with six. This season, the Madison, Conn. native recorded four games with 10 or more saves, including an 18-save performance against at the time No. 1 Middlebury, which ranks tied for sixth all-time in program history. Minickene became the program's second-ever NCAA Statistical champion as she led Division III in save percentage. She also finished the year ranked sixth nationally and first in the conference in GAA.
RILEY PERKINS | SO. | D | LAKEVILLE, MASS.
Perkins claims her first career all-region selection after a season in which she was named CNE Defensive Player of the Year and was a member of the All-CNE First Team. The Lakeville, Mass. native finished the year with two defensive saves while also scoring 12 goals to go with seven assists for 31 points, all of which are career highs. Perkins' first defensive save of the season came against Middlebury in the third quarter to keep the game at 1-0, allowing the Gulls to eventually tie and win the game. The sophomore was part of a defensive unit that allowed just one goal in conference play and had 11 shutouts throughout the season. During the season, Perkins was the Gulls' penalty-stroke taker and converted 10, including the game-winning goal in the CNE Semifinals versus Western New England.
TORI SWANSON | SR. | F | FARMINGTON, CONN.
For the third consecutive season, Swanon has been selected for the first-team all-region. She becomes the second student-athlete in program history to earn first-team all-region honors for three consecutive seasons, joining Sydney Poulin '22 (Watertown, Mass.). The senior forward finished the season with 25 goals and eight assists for 58 points. Swanson became the program's all-time scoring leader with her 64th career goal in Endicott's 10-0 win over UNE on Sept. 13, and the program's all-time points leader with her game-winning goal against Middlebury. Nationally, the senior finished the season ranked 13th in Goals Per Game (1.09) and 14th in Points per Game (2.52). Swanson scored a goal in 19 of 23 games this season, including a 10-game goal-scoring stretch from Sept. 6 through Oct. 8. She also ended the season with a goal in eight of her final nine games. The Farmington, Conn. native was part of an Endicott offense that led Division III in Goals Per Game (5.17), Points Per Game (13.13), Scoring Average (5.04), and Scoring Margin (4.32).
SECOND TEAM ALL-REGION
NATALIA CORREIA | SR. | D | TYNGSBORO, MASS.
For the first time in her career, Correia has earned all-region recognition, being named to the second team. The senior has been a centerpiece of the Endicott defense over the course of her four years, as she played in 81 of a possible 83 games with 78 career starts. The 81 games played rank tied for eighth for most games played in program history, while her 78 starts are tied for fifth. Correia was named to the All-CNE First Team for the first time in her career as she helped guide the defensive unit to a national ranking of fifth in Goals Against Average and sixth in Shutouts Per Game. During the season, the senior scored two goals, with one coming in the Gulls' victory over Keene St. in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.
MADDY DENGLER | SR. | F | WINCHESTER, MASS.
Dengler has earned all-region honors for the second time in her career after being named to the First Team in 2023. This fall, the senior posted a career-high 18 goals and 11 assists for 47 points after starting all 23 games for the Gulls. Over the course of her four years, Dengler played in all 83 games, which is tied for fourth all-time in games played. The Winchester, Mass. native reached the 100-point benchmark with a five-point effort against UNE on Sept. 13. She eventually finished her career with 142 career points, which ranks third all-time. The senior forward also holds the single-game record for most assists in a single game with four against Saint Joseph's (Me.) on Oct. 8. In a stretch from Oct. 4 through Oct. 28, Dengler recorded multi-point games in seven out of nine games.
YEAR IN REVIEW
Endicott posted a 21-1 overall record and a 7-0 mark in league play, earning the number one seed in the CNE Tournament.
The Gulls would win their seventh conference championship in overtime versus Roger Williams. The Blue and Green then defeated Keene St. in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, 9-0, before falling to No. 9 Middlebury, 3-2 (2OT).
