    Gulls Cannot Stop WPI Winning Streak

    WORCESTER, Mass- The men's basketball team traveled to Worcester, MA trying to hand WPI its first loss of the season. After taking a five point lead into halftime, 30-25, WPI used a 20-8 run in the last 8 minutes to win their seventh consecutive game. WPI, Williams and Amherst are the only teams in New England that have not lost a game.

    Endicott started quickly, jumping out to a seven point lead, 12-5. The Gulls defense played at a high level as it held WPI to 25.9% shooting for the half.

    In the second half junior Mike Prestilio sparked WPI as he scored 14 points off a variety of jump shots. The Gulls had trouble with WPI's man to man defense. WPI forced 19 turnovers that led to 12 points.

    Endicott was led by sophomore Nemanja Marinkovic with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Senior Josh Oxton (10 points) and junior Zach Ellis (11 points) also reached double digits. WPI was led by sophomore Ryan Cain's 20 points and 5 rebounds. Sophomore Scott Misiaszek chipped in with 18 points and 9 rebounds.

    Endicott takes a break for final exams and returns in 2005 where they will continue their rivalry with Colby-Sawyer College on January 8th. WPI plays Saturday versus Framingham State.
