Endicott picked sixth in TCCC preseason poll

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott College men's basketball team has been selected to finish sixth in The Commonwealth Coast Conference, this according to the preseason poll released on Monday by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league's head men's basketball coaches.
Colby-Sawyer College has been selected as the favorite to win the 2008-09 TCCC men's basketball championship. The Chargers (13-11, 8-5 TCCC) received five of the 14 first-place votes in the 2008 TCCC preseason poll. The University of New England was selected second while receiving seven first-place votes. Roger Williams University was picked to finish third, while receiving the remaining two first place votes. Gordon College and the Wentworth Institute of Technology were picked to finish fourth and fifth, respectively.
Teams received 14 points for every first place vote received, 13 points for second place votes, 12 points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parentheses.
