Kinney Locks Up CNE Player of the Week Award
BEVERLY, Mass. — In the final weekly honors of the season, Endicott men's basketball junior forward Elijah Kinney (Nashville, Tenn.) has been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Last week, Endicott secured its first perfect in-conference season in program history with its 2-0 conclusion to the regular season.
Kinney was a major factor as to why, as he averaged 21.5 points (17-27 FG, 4-6 3PT, 5-7 FT), 11.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 0.5 steals over the two-game stretch.
In Endicott's 74-69 road win at Suffolk on Tuesday, Kinney picked up his 15th double-double of the season and provided some clutch scoring for the Gulls to close out the contest. He finished with 17 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3PT, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds, two blocks, two assists and a steal in 33 minutes of action.
Then, on Saturday against Roger Williams, he led all scorers with 26 points (11-17 FG, 3-3 3PT, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, and a block in 27 minutes of action, securing his 16th double-double on the year amidst the Gulls' 81-65 win on Senior Day.
This is Kinney's fourth CNE Player of the Week honors this season and in his career (11/24/25, 12/8/25, 12/15/25).
