Endicott finishes third at Nichols College tri-match

DUDLEY, Mass. - The Endicott College golf team opened its season by shooting a combined 319, finishing one stroke behind second-place Brandeis (318) and 15 strokes behind the winning Nichols College Bison at the Dudley Hill Golf Course on Friday afternoon. Medalists Pat Pio (Somers, Conn.) and Chris Healy (Charlton, Mass.) led the way for the host Bison as the pair each shot a 74 to lead Nichols to the win.
Nichols' junior Shawn Santos (Agawam, Mass.) placed third overall with a 75, while Aaron Hattenback of Brandeis placed fourth with a 76. Endicott was paced by Drew Sullivan (Katonah, N.Y.) and Garett Seney's (Bow, N.H.) 79. Andrew LaRocque (Averill Park, N.Y.) shot an 80 for the Gulls while Peter Weatherby (Portsmouth, R.I.) and Jerry Miceli (South Windsor, Conn.) each stroked an 81 for the Blue and Green.
Endicott returns to the links on Tuesday afternoon as the Gulls travel to Casco Bay, Maine to square-off with St. Joe's College at 11:00 a.m.
