Men’s Golf Punches Ticket To CCC Championship At Fall Qualifier

Nichols took home top honors for the second straight season behind a team score of 309 (+25) in the 18-hole event (par 71 | 6,830 yards). Endicott followed in second place (311, +27), while Suffolk (317, +33), Roger Williams (319, +35), Western New England (320, +36), the University of New England (329, +45), Gordon (334, +50), and Wentworth (354, +70) comprised the rest of the field.
The top four teams in today's CCC Fall Qualifier have earned the right to compete for the 2023 CCC Golf Championship in the spring. The two-day, 36-hole event is scheduled for the weekend of April 29.
Additionally, the winner of the CCC Championship will earn the league's automatic qualifier into the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship.
Brady Burke (Bedford, N.H.) led the way for the Gulls in the CCC Fall Qualifier with a score of 71 (even) to best the field of 30-plus golfers. His medalist honors are the first of the season for the sophomore.
Tyler Baker (Falmouth, Maine) followed in a tie for fifth place (77, +6), while Frank Mahoney (Braintree, Mass.), Will Pierce (Melrose, Mass.), and Nicholas Grimbilas (Strafford, N.H.) ranked t-15th (81, +10), t-21st (82, +11), and t-23rd (83, +12), respectively.

Endicott, the defending CCC Champions, will return to action tomorrow at the University of New England Invitational in Kennebunk, Maine at the Cape Arundel Golf Club.
