BEVERLY, Mass. - Following a season in which he helped guide the Endicott golf team to a second place finish in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship, junior Brady Burke (Bedford, N.H.) has been named to the NCAA DIII PING All-Region Team for Region 1, as was announced earlier this week. Grimbilas was one of just 15 golfers selected from the region, and becomes just the fourth golfer in program history to receive PING All-Region honors.
The all-region nod comes after he was named to the CCC First Team for the second straight year, and followed a season in which he averaged a team-best average of 72.8 strokes across eight events and 13 rounds. The junior was named CCC Golfer of the Week once during the year as he earned one medalist honor and finished as the third place finisher at the CCC Championship with a two round total of 147 (74-73, +3). Burke finished the year with two top-three finishes, one top-10, and one top-20. The Bedford, N.H. native also posted a low round of 69 for the season which came at the Duke Nelson Invitational.
Burke joins Austin Teal '16, Athan Goulos '18, and Nicholas Grimbilas '23 as the only student-athletes to have earned PING All-Region distinction for the Gulls.
