BIDDEFORD, Maine — The No. 9/11 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team fell to No. 15 University of New England (UNE), 6-2, on Friday night in conference action at the Harold Alfond Forum.
Endicott received goals from Jason Kalinowski (Stamford, Conn.) and Jack Kilty (Medway, Mass.) in the second (10:28) and third (8:02) periods, respectively.
UNE scored three straight goals to begin the contest (first period, 9:49/17:53, second period, 2:31) before Kalinowski finally broke up the Nor'easters shutout bid at 10:28 of the second. From there, UNE scored two goals 20-seconds apart in the third (3:05, 3:25) to put the game away.
Meanwhile, in goal, Conor O'Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) made 29 saves in the loss (9-4-2).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 6-3-1 on the road this season.
