    BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 4 nationally ranked Endicott men’s ice hockey team (23-2-2) is set to host No. 2 Hobart (27-2-0) in the NCAA Division III Tournament Semifinal Round on Friday, March 24 at 7 PM. Here’s a preview of the matchup at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

    BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 4 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team (23-2-2) is set to host No. 2 Hobart (27-2-0) in the NCAA Division III Tournament Semifinal Round on Friday, March 24 at 7 PM.

    Friday's contest will mark the first time Endicott College has competed in an NCAA Division III National Semifinal in any sport.

    Hosting this weekend's NCAA Division III National Championship is also a first for the College.

    TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

    Semifinals — Friday, March 24
    3 PM — No. 3 Adrian (24-4-2) vs No. 10 University of New England (21-6-2)
    7 PM — No. 4 Endicott (23-2-2) vs No. 2 Hobart (27-2-0)

    Championship — Sunday, March 26
    7 PM — Winner of Game 1 vs Winner of Game 2

    NOTE: Tickets for the national championship game will go on sale this Saturday (March 25) at 10 AM (PURCHASE TICKETS)

    • Hobart enters Friday's contest on a 10-game winning streak (dates back to January 27; outscoring opponents 45-11).
    • Endicott is 1-0 all-time against Hobart (3/11/17; W, 4-3; NCAA Tournament First Round).
    • The matchup features the No. 1 (Hobart, 1.18) and No. 3 (Endicott, 1.50) scoring defenses in the country. 
    • Statesmen sophomore forward Luke Aquaro (Yardley, Pa.) leads all Division III skaters in game-winning goals with seven.
    • The Gulls are 13-1-1 at home this season, while Hobart is 8-2-0 on the road.
