Kurapov, Willett Named Joe Concannon Award Semifinalists 

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott College men's ice hockey student-athletes Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) and Ryan Willett (Bayville, N.Y.) have been named semifinalists for the 24th Joe Concannon Award — presented annually to the best America-born NCAA Division II/III college hockey student-athlete in New England. 

The Joe Concannon Award was established in 2001 shortly after the passing of the longtime writer for The Boston Globe, who had a great passion for the game of college hockey while always advocating strongly for amateur athletics.

In 20 games played this season, Kurapov has compiled 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points.

He also sits at plus-11 on the year with two power play goals and three game-winning goals (tied 13th nationally).

Among his peers in the Conference of New England, Kurapov ranks fourth in goals, sixth in points, eighth in points per game (1.00), and eighth in goals per game (.55). 

Kurapov is now a three-time Joe Concannon Award semifinalist.

Willett has produced 24 points (5g, 19a) and a plus-12 rating in 20 games played.

The senior forward is No. 11 in assists per game (0.90) among all D3 skaters and second in the CNE (1st in total assists).

This is Willett's first career Joe Concannon Award semifinalist honor.
