BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 11 Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Western New England, 8-2, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Thursday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
The Blue and Green got off to a hot start tonight as Sebastian Speck (Dryden, Mich.), John Goldowski (Buffalo, N.Y.), James Hooley (Quincy, Mass.), and Louie Kamienski (Elmhurst, Ill.) all recorded goals in the first period to give the Gulls an early 4-0 lead.
Noah Gibbs (Saint-Basile, New Brunswick, Canada) was the lone Gull to score in the second period, sending one past the goalie at the 9:42 mark.
Endicott potted three more goals over the final 20 minutes with Mark D'Agostino (Branford, Conn.), Anthony Cafarelli (Middleton, Mass.), and Collin Kleiser (Churchville, Pa.) all finding the back of the net.
In goal, Peter Sterling (Manassas, Va.) improves to 10-1-0 on the season with 14 saves during the contest.
