Ross Olsson '18 M'19 enters his first year as a volunteer assistant coach with the men's ice hockey program in 2025-26.
Olsson returns to Beverly after a professional hockey career spanning from 2019-2024. During that time, he played for the Worcester Railers (ECHL), Kansas City Mavericks (ECHL), Indy Fuel (ECHL), Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL), Bridgeport Islanders (AHL), and the Providence Bruins (AHL).
During his professional career, Olsson played 198 games, recording 64 goals and 48 assists for 112 points.
Olsson joined the professional ranks after a historic four-year career with the Gulls, as he is currently the career leader in Points (134), Power-Play goals (23), Assists (79), ranks second in Points per game (1.43), Goals (55), third in Goals per game (0.59), third in Assists per game (0.84), and tied for sixth in Game-winning goals (6), and Short-handed goals (3). He was also a 2016-16 All-Conference First-team selection, 2016-17 Joe Concannon award semifinalist, and 2x All-CCC Second-team selection.
While playing for Endicott, Olsson and the Gulls amassed a 74-28-9 overall record (.707) and a conference record of 47-19-3 (.703). The Blue and Green won the CCC Championship in just its second varsity season in 2016-17 along with winning an NCAA Tournament game versus Hobart before falling in the quarterfinals.
