CNE CHAMPIONSHIP: No. 1 Endicott Hosts No. 2 Wentworth In Championship Clash (5/3,1 PM)

BEVERLY, Mass. — Top-seeded Endicott (14-3) and second-seeded Wentworth (14-4) will clash for the first-time ever in the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship game at Hempstead Stadium this Saturday at 1 PM.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The Gulls hold an 29-3 advantage over the Leopards in the all-time series.

• Endicott defeated Wentworth, 20-5, in the regular season on 4/12 at home.

• Endicott's national ranks include 1st in ground balls with 861, 2nd in ground balls per game at 50.65, and 2nd in scoring offense with 19.41 goals per game. 2025 CNE Offensive Player of the Year Cam Fernandez (Mendham, N.J.) ranks 14th nationally in points per game at 5.53.

• For Wentworth, goalie Tom Gardner ranks eighth nationally and leads the conference in save percentage. The Leopards also boast the No. 8 man-down unit across Division III.

• The Gulls are 9-1 at The Nest, while the Leopards are 5-3 on the road this season.

The winner of Saturday's championship contest will earn the CNE's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament.
