BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team fell to No. 3 nationally ranked Bowdoin, 16-12, in non-conference action on Tuesday night at the Hempstead Stadium.
Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), Joseph Tumolo (Mahopac, N.Y.), and Tommy Tyksinski (Guilderland, N.Y.) all led the Gulls with hat-tricks.
Donovan Devellis (Norfolk, Mass.) added two tallies while Adam Priest (Billerica, Mass.) found the back of the net once to round out the scoring.
In goal, Gio Panicola (Long Beach, N.Y.) made a career-high 16 saves as his record falls to 4-1 this season.
After Tyksinski tied the game with 2:47 left before halftime, Panicola made a save to allow the Gulls to get into transition. From there, Priest found Graap, who fired one home to give the Blue and Green an 8-7 lead heading into halftime.
The Polar Bears tied the game at 13:36 of the third quarter, but Devellis and Graap scored back-to-back, giving Endicott its biggest lead of the contest.
From there, Bowdoin scored the next six consecutive goals to take a 14-10 lead. The two teams would trade goals the rest of the way, and the Polar Bears came away victorious 16-12.
