BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team upended Nichols, 22-8, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Tuesday evening at Hempstead Stadium.
The Gulls raced out to a 10-1 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.
Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) led all scorers, yet again, with five goals on nine shots (six on goal, 83.3%).
Tommy Tyksinski (Guilderland, N.Y.) added four tallies to the victory, while Donovan Devellis (Norfolk, Mass.) notched a hat trick.
Endicott also received a pair of goals from Adam Priest (Billerica, Mass.), Joseph Tumolo (Mahopac, N.Y.), and Jack Ballinger (Richmond, Mass.), along with solo markers from Brody MacDonald (Hanson, Mass.), Brendan Batchen (Buffalo, N.Y.), Jack Peterson (Milton, Mass.), and Andrew Aylwin (Topsfield, Mass.).
In goal, sophomore starter Gio Panicola (Long Beach, N.Y.) made eight saves in 45 minutes of action to improve to 11-3 overall on the season.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 29-0 all-time against Nichols.
- The Gulls have won seven games in a row, dating back to March 25.
- Graap is tied for fourth all-time on the program record goal scoring list (185).
- The senior attackman needs 15 more goals to become the third student-athlete in program history to reach the 200-goal plateau.
- With his five points in the contest, Tyksinski goes over 200 career points.
- Travis Foster (Wells, Maine) has now scooped up 100 career ground balls.

Endicott (11-3, 7-0 CNE) hosts Hartford on Saturday, April 18 at 3 PM. Nichols (7-8, 3-4 CNE) visits Wentworth this Saturday at 6 PM.
