BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Hartford, 19-7, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Saturday evening at Hempstead Stadium.
Tied 2-2 early in the second quarter, Endicott rattled off eight straight goals that spilled over into the second half (2Q – 14:22 to 3Q – 14:22) and never looked back in the matchup.
Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) paced the Gulls with a career-high seven goals, which ranks tied for No. 15 all-time on the single-game scoring list.
Donovan Devellis (Norfolk, Mass.) added a hat trick to the victory, while Chris Hughes (North Kingstown, R.I.) and Brody MacDonald (Hanson, Mass.) both scored twice for the hosts.
Tommy Tyksinski (Guilderland, N.Y.), Joseph Tumolo (Mahopac, N.Y.), Manny Marshall (Chelmsford, Mass.), Joey Bonanno (Redding, Conn.), and Shane Dean (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) rounded out the scoring with solo tallies.
In goal, Gio Panicola (Long Beach, N.Y.) made nine saves to improve to 12-3 overall on the season.
