Graap And Hughes Pick Up CNE Weekly Awards
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's lacrosse attackman Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and freshman midfielder Chris Hughes (North Kingstown, R.I.) have earned Conference of New England's (CNE) Weekly Awards, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Graap was named CNE Offensive Player of the Week, while Hughes claimed Rookie of the Week honors.

Graap led Endicott's offense as he scored 12 goals. Added six ground balls
In the Gulls 22-9 win over Nichols, the senior led the way with five goals. Graap scored four goals in the first half allowing Endicott to take a 12-2 lead at halftime. Scored once more in the third quarter as Endicott outscored Nichols 6-0 in the third to extend their lead to 18-2
Followed that up in a 19-7 victory against Hartford by scoring a career-high seven goals. That ranks tied for No. 15 all-time on the single-game scoring list at Endicott. With the game tied 2-2 at the end of the first quarter, Graap scored three of the Gulls seven goals in the second quarter to extend their lead to 9-2 by halftime. The senior scored once in the third, but again scored three more in the fourth to help Endicott secure a 19-7 win.
This is his third career Offensive Player of the Week award and second this season (3/25/24 and 3/30/36).
CHRIS HUGHES
Hughes finished with 8 points- 2 goals and 6 assists- during a 2-0 week. Added four ground balls and one caused turnover.
Started the week with four assists and a ground ball in the Gulls win over Nichols. All four assists came in the second half to help Endicott grow its lead from 12-2 to a final score of 22-8.
Followed that up by getting his second career start in the Gulls win over Hartford as he had four points-two goals and two assists in addition to three ground ball and one caused turnover. All four of the freshman's points came during an 8-goal run the Gulls had that turned a tied 2-2 game into a 10-2 lead early in the third quarter.
This is Hughes' first rookie of the week award this season.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (12-3) travels to Western New England on Wednesday, Aprill 22 at 7 PM with the No. 1 seed in the upcoming CNE Tournament on the line.
