No. 4 Men's Rugby Bests No. 14 Hofstra In NCR Northeast Regionals, 48-19
MALDEN, Mass. — The No. 4 nationally ranked Endicott men's rugby team defeated No. 14 Hofstra, 48-19, in the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Northeast Regional semifinals on Saturday evening at Pine Banks Park.
Riki Kanamaru (Shinagawa, Tokyo) and Mike Nunez (Holyoke, Mass.) were named the Players of the Match. Kanamaru earned the award for his offensive hard runs and defensive poaching, while Nunez claimed the honor for his offensive breaks and defensive hard-tackling.
