BEVERLY, Mass. — Fourteen members of the Endicott men’s rugby team have been named 2023-24 National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Scholastic All-Americans.
BEVERLY, Mass. — Fourteen members of the Endicott men's rugby team have been named 2023-24 National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Scholastic All-Americans.
The Gulls' honorees were Jaden Carnevale (Coventry, R.I.), Jordan Chappell (Sunapee, N.H.), Ryan Curley (Marshfield Hills, Mass.), James Ellis (Arlington, Mass.), Kyle Ernest (Severna Park, Md.), Connor Fountain (Danvers, Mass.), Drew Hodges (Mason, N.H.), Cooper Loisel (Wilmington, Mass.), Graham Lynch (Windsor, Conn.), Joseph Matteo (Simsbury, Conn.), Ari Nass (Natick, Mass.), Luke Piotte (Stow, Mass.), Lyndon Silver (Danvers, Mass.), and Jonathan Taylor (Chicago, Ill.).
To qualify as a Scholastic All-American, student-athletes must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic year and be rostered for 50% of the Fall 15s A-side matches or rostered for 50% of the A-side Spring 7s tournaments. This selective group of Scholastic All-Americans represents about one out of 18 student-athletes competing in college rugby.
