NCR NATIONALS: Men’s Rugby Places Third In Bowl Bracket
BOYDS, Md. — The Endicott men's rugby team finished third overall in the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) 7s Division III Championship Bowl Bracket this weekend.
The NCR 7s Collegiate Rugby Championship features a cascading bracket, which enables the organization to host a 144-team tournament in a single weekend. More info on the bracket can be found here: NCR Cascading Bracket.
On Friday, Endicott fell to Duke, 20-19, in the Cup Bracket before going 1-1 in the Bowl Bracket against Susquehanna (W, 19-14) and VMI (L, 31-14).
The following day, the Gulls responded with a 15-14 victory over Providence in their Bowl Bracket Third Place matchup.
