BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's soccer student-athletes Evan Couchot (Mason, Ohio) and Arian Pilja (Arlington, Mass.) were named to the United Soccer Coaches Men's Division III All-New England Region first and third teams respectively, as announced by the organization earlier today. Couchot has been named to the all-region team for the third time in his career this is the first time he has been named on the First-Team. Pilja has been named to an All-Region team for the first time in his career.
EVAN COUCHOT | F | Mason, Ohio
During a season where he was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Offensive Player of the Year, All-CCC First Team, 2019 CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete, and CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team, Couchot starred offensively for the Gulls. Couchot led Endicott this year in both goals (23), and points (50). Nationally, Couchot ranks third in goals per game (1.21), third in points per game (2.63), fourth in goals (23), and sixth in total points (50). The senior forward also set single-season records for points (50), points per game (2.63), goals (23), goals per game (1.21), and made penalty kicks (8). In addition to his single-season records, Couchot finished his Endicott career as the all-time leader in points (133), points per game (1.80), goals (60), goals per game (0.81), and game-winning goals (14).
ARIAN PILJA | B | Arlington, Mass.
The sophomore was a critical member of the midfield this season for Endicott. In a season where he was named to the All-CCC First Team for the first time, Pilja started every game for the Gulls, leading the team in assists (5). He was also second on the team in points (13) and added four goals.
