STANDISH, Maine — The Endicott men's soccer team lost to Saint Joseph's (Me.), 2-1, on Tuesday night at the SJC Sports Complex.
Joe Akisik (Sudbury, Mass.) gave the Gulls an early 1-0 lead with an unassisted tally at the 7:38 mark.
From there, the Monks found the equalizer at 46:25 and later buried the game-winner in the 69th minute.
In goal, Zach Regulbuto (Somers, Conn.) stopped five shots in the loss (1-1-1).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Akisik scored his first career goal.
- Despite the loss, Endicott still holds an 8-4-1 advantage in the all-time series over Saint Joseph's.
- Tonight's game was the first road contest of the season for the Gulls.
