KEENE, N.H. — The Endicott men's soccer team fell to Keene State, 2-1, in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday night at Dr. Ron Butcher Field.
Endicott jumped on top first in the 35th minute thanks to a strong individual effort from Fisher Mills (Ridgefield, Conn.).
After the Owls attempted to shift fields by playing a ball from the left flank to their center back, Mills pounced on the lazy pass, stole possession from Keene State's last line of defense, and buried his first goal of the season into the lower right side of the net for a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, the Owls struck for back-to-back tallies at 54:30 and 55:43, and rode that momentum the rest of the way to remain undefeated at home this season (3-0-0).
Endicott controlled the majority of play, however, with a 9-4 advantage in corners and a plus-two shots on goal differential.
Defensively, Brady O'Toole (Concord, Mass.) stopped three shots in the setback (3-2-0).

- Despite the loss, the Gulls are 3-1-0 all-time against the Owls (1-1-0 on the road).
