Sheehan, Lynch, Cochran and Rooney Earn CNE All-Conference Honors
BEVERLY, Mass. — Four members of the Endicott men's soccer team earned Conference Of New England (CNE) Postseason All-Conference honors, the league announced on Thursday afternoon.
Sophomore midfielder Aidan Sheehan (Arlington, Mass.) and senior back Tim Lynch (Groton, Conn.) earned second team honors, while Sam Cochran (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) and Conor Rooney (Monroe, Conn.) represented the Gulls on the third team.
Additionally, Matt Misiaszek (Londonderry, N.H.) was named as the Gulls' representative on the CNE Community Service Team for his charitable contributions and outstanding leadership within the Endicott community.
AIDAN SHEEHAN | ALL-CNE SECOND TEAM | M | SR.
Sheehan led the Gulls in goals scored (four), assists (seven), game-winning goals (two), and points (15) from the midfield this past season. The junior set career-highs in all of those categories, and across the CNE, his seven assists ranked tied-fourth most.
His playmaking ability was on full display earlier this season in Endicott's 2-0 win over Suffolk on 9/20. He dished out two assists in the match, guiding the Gulls to the pivotal CNE home win.
His two game-winners came against Hartford on 9/27 and Curry on 10/22.
This is Sheehan's second career CNE All-Conference honors (2024 third team).
TIM LYNCH | ALL-CNE SECOND TEAM | B | SR.
The senior captain and 2024 CNE Defensive Player of the Year followed up with another standout season in 2025.
His impact in the midfield and backfield shut down team's offenses throughout the season, which equated to a conference best 0.70 goals allowed per game by the Endicott defense.
He also made some offensive contributions this season. On September 13, he netted his first career goal at Wentworth, scoring late to put the Gulls up 2-0 on the road. Additionally, on October 11, he set up the Blue and Green's 89th minute game-winner with a sweet assist (third career).
With the second team honors, Lynch adds to his impressive career resume that includes the 2024 CNE Defensive Player of the Year, 2024 All-CNE First Team, 2023 All-CCC First Team, and 2022 CCC Rookie of the Year.
SAM COCHRAN | ALL-CNE THIRD TEAM | F | SO.
Cochran recorded a solid sophomore season from up top for the Gulls in 2025.
The forward posted two goals and an assist (five points) for Coach Calabrese's squad.
His offensive skillset led the Gulls to victory in the CNE First Round at Johnson & Wales on November 1. He recorded a brace (second career multi-goal game) to keep the Blue and Green's season alive and send them through to the semifinals against Suffolk.
His physical play from up top contributed to many more winning plays throughout the season.
This marks Cochran's second career CNE All-Conference honors (2024 first team).
CONOR ROONEY | ALL-CNE THIRD TEAM | M | SR.
Rooney's crafty midfield play translated to another All-Conference worthy season for the senior in 2025.
He ranked second on the team with his three goals and four assists. With his 10 points, he also secured his third consecutive season with double digits in that category.
His game-breaking niftiness from the midfield was evident in Endicott's CNE win against Curry on 10/22. The senior scored a goal and dished out two assists in Endicott's 4-0 home win, showcasing his ability to create offensive opportunities.
This is Rooney's third career All-Conference honors (2023 All-CCC Third Team, 2024 All-CNE Second Team).
